Lucy Frazer converses with an officer

Cambridgeshire Constabulary is currently at record capacity, with over 1,700 officers in post.

With more officers on the beat, we have seen a 30% reduction in neighbourhood crime, a 49% reduction in bike theft, and a 21% reduction in rural crime in Cambridgeshire since 2019.

The Government has announced that Cambridgeshire’s police will be receiving a 6.1% increase to its core funding in 2024-25 — an above-inflation increase — which will better equip our force to tackle crime and keep people safe.
